Longmuir’s Hidden Cove Cottages
Longmuir's Hidden Cove Cottage Resort is located on Lake Weslemkoon, just 30 minutes outside of Bancroft, Ontario. Lake Weslemkoon is considered to be one of the top 10 bass fishing lakes in Canada. This pristine, majestic lake is 120 km in circumference and is full of hidden bays and inlets ideal for bass habitat. In addition to bass, there is a healthy population of lake trout, perch, sunfish and whitefish. Surrounded by crown land, Lake Weslemkoon is nature at its finest and home to deer, bear, partridge, wild turkey, moose and elk.
Longmuir's Hidden Cove Cottages are ideal for families, fishing groups, hunting parties, ATV and skidoo trail riders. Our resort has 4 housekeeping cottages and 2 that are fully insulated and heated for four season use, a great boat launch, four docks and a fish cleaning station. Motor boats, canoe, kayaks and paddle boat are also available to rent (check website for pricing).
Cottages
Rocky Crest:
One bedroom with 2 doubles and one single bed, fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, dishes. Three piece bathroom, and a screened in porch for sitting out. Propane BBQ, and picnic table.
Sunny Vista:
One bedroom with a double bed and a fold out futon in the living room for additional sleeping space. Fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, dishes. Three piece bathroom. TV with Blu-ray/DVD player in living area. Propane BBQ, and picnic table. Sunny Vista faces the lake and is available all seasons.
Loon lodge:
Two storey cottage with a large living/dining open plan on the main floor. Just off of the living room is a screened in porch with a view of the lake. Upstairs are four bedrooms with beds for 9 persons, and a three piece bathroom. Downstairs has a fold out futon in the living room for additional sleeping space. The kitchen comes fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and large dining table and chairs. There is a TV (with Shaw Satellite) and DVD player in the living room. Propane BBQ and picnic table provided. This cottage is also available all seasons.
Lofty Pines:
An open concept cottage with cathedral ceiling, open plan kitchen/dining and living space with ceiling fans. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and a large futon in living room. There is also a lovely enclosed extra dinning area overlooking the lake. Fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, dishes. Three piece bathroom. Propane BBQ, and picnic table.
